Cyber Security Architect

Our client has an immediate requirement for a seasoned professional Cyber Security Architect to join their highly successful New Zealand owned with Global Reach SaaS Software Product Solutions company working in the Identity Management space. 
 
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skillsets and experience;
 

• 5+ years’ relevant cyber security and information security experience working with both startups and expanding organisations
• Hands on experience in Security Operations (SecOps) and Security Incidents in a CLOUD Environment 
• Capable of undertaking Vulnerability Assessments and working with internal teams to perform security design reviews and security assessments and new environments, technologies, and opensource libraries are introduced  
• Practical experience in helping both internal and customers manage their cyber security risks in areas such as security architecture, risk management, governance, security strategy, security incident management and vulnerability management
• Strong IT skills and knowledge including AWS Cloud Infrastructure, software applications and networks running on AWS
• Strong understanding and exposure to security tools and working with the external vendors providing these including SIEM, Endpoint detection, penetration testing, MDM, AntiVirus, Firewalls, DDOS protection etc
• Have excellent communications and written skills and must be able to talk about security articulately and passionately to all levels of an organisation
• Have some or all of the security qualifications CISSP, CISA, CISM or working towards these
• Have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC2, NZISM, ISO27001, NIST 
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, training and controls
• You will be a detailed oriented “doer” with a pragmatic approach
