Engineering Practice Lead

We're seeking a strategic technical leader to guide our client's Engineering Practice, ensuring current technologies are future-oriented. We're looking for someone who's coming from an engineering background or solutions architect, to then having proven time in a leadership role. Could be someone who has stepped away from technical work but not for so long that they cannot now guide on technologies, frameworks, and tools.

You will be joining a dynamic team within a large, international, growing business. 

Key Skills and Experience required:
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in effectively leading and managing technical teams, cultivating a high-performance work environment
  • Experience in project management, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering results within constraints.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, with a history of resolving complex technical challenges and providing effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to both influence and effectively convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Proven experience in recruiting, training, and developing IT professionals, creating a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Knowledge of various software development best practices and methodologies.
